How can I help my child's development?
How can I help my child's development?
It is a question that every parent asks themselves; how can I help my child develop? The learning process is cumulative – a child’s personality and values evolve. Lessons learned in childhood carry over into adulthood, thus nurturing that ability to learn is very important if you want your child to give your child the best possible start to equip them with the tools they require to excel when they become adults.
There are some great online resources to help you with these challenges. A great resource we've found here at Bits 'n Bumps is iChild, the website dedicated to your child's development and education with FREE educational activities for parent's and carers to download such as bold pictures to print off for your little ones to colour in, topical foreign language (French and Spanish) PDF's, games, story writing, words and spelling, flash cards - and lots more!
Together with child development expert Dr Carol Cooper and leading education advisor Godfrey Hall, iChild has produced FREE printable activities that cover child development and education from birth to 11 years! These are perfect for keeping your kids busy and are both fun and educational.
iChild's FREE Educational Activities cover subjects fromt he National Curriculum and Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and so can be used in nurseries and schools as well as at home. Simply click on the relevant age tabs on the site and you will be able to see how each activity benefits your child.
iChild also have more FREE Fun Activities and things to do that will keep your kids busy and allow you to spend rewarding time with your child.
